What's the lowest resolution

You design to these days? I remember I used to design for 800*600 or 1024*800, what's the accepted standard these days?

Yeah, it was 800x600 for ages but these days, it's 1024x768.

Also, I read an article which says that the old 'fold' rule is pretty much history now. As people have become used to the Internet, most now scroll and scan the entire page, not just the top before deciding if they should stay or bounce. TBF, I'd still keep something like a donate button at the top, but that's more because users will typically scan from the top downwards (unless there is something eye catching to make them scan otherwise).

It should work in 1024x768, but feel free to design for 1280x1024.
