As the title asked.

XP home is about 50 quid +Vat
XP Corp is about 75 quid +Vat.

Or there abouts, well it costs more.

Now does the corp have (obviously) more admin tools and stuff?
Does it run a lot more services than the Home version?
Which would be best for a gaming system, and why?

Sorry to ask silly questions, just a mate of mine is looking to upgrade Os and i told him to buy the home one, cos its cheaper and he wont use half the features of Corp. Hes swears that corp is better for gaming and runs a bit faster than home version?

thanks

he is wrong, Home will run games just the same as pro. And fwiw, you can't just buy the corp edition, you must mean Pro.
Differences include pro allowing you to edit file permissions, access rights to network shares, ability to join a domain, IIS server, user/group policies, full user/group management. Thats about it I think.
