I'm curious since I see a lot of scavengers roaming around checking peoples bin bags around here.
it's not even a nice place to live so I dunno what they expect to find.
also seems to be theft even if it's someones rubbish bag according to google

but it got me thinking so, whats the most expensive thing you've purposely thrown in the trash?

Are you doing some research to see if it's worth your time joining them?
No I'd be too embarrassed and I'd assume 95% of bin bags only contain household waste

it's not much above collecting cigarette butts off the street to make a roll up

In Zurich? It's probably people collecting bottles and cans for the pfand.
No I'm in Newcastle.

in Zurich anything people throw away that they think someone else might want they place outside with a sign saying "gratis"

also you have to buy the bin bags from your kanton so your basically paying a rubbish tax and theres stickers for heavy/bulky items that are basically like stamps, the heavier your item the more stickers you need to place on it.

so it pretty much saves you money to be nice if you don't want the hassle of selling something.

where in this country people would rather take a hammer to it

Dreamcast was an awesome console, especially loved the triggers for driving games. Ferrari challenge was great on that, give it to charity a local hospital will have tons of bored kids nil by mouth wanting that kind of thing.
yea dreamcast was awesome and was the first console with online functionality, chat rooms etc.
the browser for it was crap though I think it was like an outdated version of html.

I had one when I was like 17/18, my parents ended up with a phone bill of like 1000 (would be like a 1500 bill in 2021 with inflation) from the dial up charges before any ISP did the unlimited packages LOL
I just moved out before they got the bill too
