Whats the most graphically demanding game?

As title, i was just wondering.
I remember when i bought FEAR, and that destroyed my pc, which at the time had a good spec.
What are your opinions?

There's a difference between something which is graphically demanding and badly coded though.

I guess he's sifted through the code and is unhappy with what the programmers have done.

Not optimized very well, like coding "1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1" instead of "8" which uses less system resources to process it.

The most demanding game I have would be Oblivion. Even when the FPS is over 40, my mouse still lags like mad. Stalker is just so poorly made it's not funny so that doesn't count.

yep like Oblivion, Vanguard etc. Very poorly coded imo. (talking graphics engine) Number one destroyer of atmosphere and immersion is lots of popup like in Oblivion. Much much prefer Stalkers engine to Oblivion (have yet to come across a noticeable or annoying bug in Stalker)
