Back in 2000 I thought I would like to make a web page so went to purple shirt store and spent £250 on front page 2000.

Anyone beat that?

20quid on left 4 dead its a game but its still a software (kinda..) if we go on about software.. well 5.99?!? :D

Probably £85 on Leopard... about three weeks before I joined Apple and they gave me another one for free! Damnit.

Another interesting fact: I bought it off a guy who then, about a year later, came out then proceeded to get very drunk and tell me that he fancied three boys at work, one of which was me, then fall asleep in the middle of a field in the ****ing rain.

Youngsters ;) Back in the day stuff was expensive. My first cd writer was £260, 2 speed ;)

Yeah, I was only 16 and it was part of my Christmas money. My mum went wild when she found out I bought it then even more wild when she found out I'd lost the receipt :D

Lol, I went tol the same place asking for a top of the range computer, oh yes sir, a new athelon slot A 750mhz pc with win 98se, only £1100, oh had a 16mb tnt2 gfx card. Asked if it would be easy to upgrade, of course, slot A is the future.....

£60 for me I think but that was back when most AAA Snes titles cost that much new . Having said that a mate paid about £120 to import a Snes copy of Fatal Fury.

My most expensive piece of software was guitar rig 2 (free upgrade to 3).

That cost me about £250~ including the hardware controller.
