..... that learns what kind of mail is spam and what isn't? Recently, I've been getting bombarded with spam mails about mortgages etc and it's really doing my head in  The thing is, they all have spelling mistakes in the subject line and I can't be arsed typing in a new filter everytime a new typo comes along. I know that there is a piece of software out there that has a sort of learning filter built into it that can delete mail straight away if it has these spammy type of typo's. Does anyone know what it's called? For some reason I have a picture of a German Shepherd dog in my head :D

What are you using, Outlook Express, Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003.

If you're not using it then get Outlook 2003 it has great built in spam filters.

Are you on about PopFile? filters and tags all incoming emails
I'd also recommend this....providing your mail client allows for "Rules" to check contents/subject/etc on incoming email.

Sorry for the slow response peeps. I am using Thunderbird at the minute but I have come to dislike that proggy. I thought it was okay at first but now I'd rather use something else. K9 was the software that I was originally thinking about (thanks AJUK) but I might have a look at the others mentioned. In the meanwhile I think I'll just have to switch back to using outlook 03 ;)

If anyone knows of any other proggys that they have either tried or are using at the moment (and you're impressed by it) feel free to post here to let me know.

Thanks again peeps :D

I've reverted back to ms outlook 2003 :D I forgot all about the filters that it had in place about blocking emails from certain countries. A little bit of tweaking here and there and I should be sorted .... I think ;) :D
