Not something I'm intending to do in the near future, but after 2 years in my current house, the glosswork I painted when I moved in is already starting to yellow (used Permaglaze). I'd rather not have to redo paintwork every few years, so what's the nearest colour to white in a gloss that doesn't suffer from yellowing?

I'd look at satinwood, but I guess I'm just old fashioned...

Water based gloss, i have some and it was called brilliant white and hasnt faded. It was actually easier to paint on and looks like gloss!

Had a simular problem. I painted all our upstairs a few years ago which turned yellow within months. I couldn't believe how yellow it turned.

It's apparently a reduction in Volitle Organic Compounds (VOCs) in their oil-based paints but I heard there were problems with the product too.

I've just re-glossed so hoping they stay yellow.
