Whats the next monitor step up for me

So currently use a Dell 24inch 1920x1080 IPS

(assumed budget of £500)
rig in sig, what would be the next step up from this i'd like a 27 inch really but my 980ti don't really give amazing 4k performace and even on the 50 inch tv i'm finding icons on 4k a little small. Don't really want to stray from IPS neither as i've grown to love it a lot especially after i moved away from VA i don't really want to be going back to it.

I've seen people say super wide is great but i really dont think i have the desktop space for it, 27 inch is my maximum as my desk layout don't leave much room for anything else.

Spray the stand (It's removable) could plastidip so it's not permanent or use a monitor mount.

I can get it for £500 thinking the feet can be sprayed or they might not be too bad as a contrast. Just really hate silver stuff on my desk.Don't want big chunks of silver on there. That aside as a monitor is it any good.
