What's the next step up from a Z68A-D3-B3?

All Z68 boards use the Sandybridge integrated graphics if that is what you are asking

You would think so, but quite a lot of the models have ommited this feature and offer no access to the integrated graphics, even though they are Z68 board. One example is the gigabyte board the OP mentioned.

If you want a good value board that allows access to the IGP then this is a good option (no SLI/CF options mind you). If you can push you budget a bit further then this is a really excellent board.

I wanted the touch bios, since the bios scares me. I think I'm going to risk is because I do have a backup graphics card if my current one fails.

Z68MA-D2H-B3 is a very nice board with all the features you could want and of course the onboard graphics. Touch BIOS works rather well with this motherboard I might add.

Yeah the Z68MA-D2H-B3 is a good price, I know that Gigabyte also have a Z68XP-UD3P which is a full size ATX board giving you some extra features at a good price.
