Whats the realtime performance difference between the GTS and the GTX, I am a n00b when it comes to hardware, so all these benchmark scores go over my head tbh. I am trying to figure out how much better the FPS will be with the GTX over the GTS. Most of the reviews I can find are all compare the cards against the GX2 or the XTX but never the 2 8800's against each other.

The GTX is a fair bit faster than the GTS.

But it depends waht res yo game at.

TBH if you are asking this question I would look at a mid range card.
 
I am buying a complete new setup, I intend to spend £2k including monitor. Its just that where I buy my PC's from will not be supplying the GTX untill the 17th but they have got a GTS version now. The money is burning a huge whole in my pocket so I wanna know if i should wait 9 more days or settle for the GTS
