I'm wondering why I should upgrade my current PC3200 Crucial for a 'high performance' 500MHz memory setup?

I'm running my Crucial at 250MHz (500MHZ) Cas3 and it doesn't skip a beat so what would memory that costs twice as much offer me? Is it more likely the so called 500 high end memory will actually push further past the 250fsb mark and closer on to 300 therefore its more of a gurantee it'll do 250 but more then likely higher?

Thanks in advance. ;)

depends on what your using it for. if its socket a cpus then running a 1:1 fsb and mem ratio is important. with a64 its not important to be running 1:1.

if you got the money to spend then get the best thats available. if your limited on funds then its a different story.
