Whats the sweet spot for a hardware/Game test rig?

thanks for replies.

Surely depends on what you plan on testing?
What are you testing? There's the answer...

i just updated the title to be a bit more specific as i did make it vague doh!

i dont know what hardware yet, just i had a system before for testing hardware and gaming to which i started youtube channel for, but was on a low end scale and with a bit more spare time currently i want to get back at it.

right now im thinking of using a basic system i just built that sports an Asrock A320M which is why i said about no overclocking and its fitted with an A6 9500 which will enable bios updates for ryzen, but im using an old 300w dell psu i salvaged to make sure the system runs, so i would need to upgrade that before anything else.

I suppose what im asking is for a single card setup, what is the sweet spot ie like 550w or greater!, basically something that wont need to be changed when the cpu/gpu gets changed, i wouldnt want to be too limited.
