Heya,

Anybody have any idea what this technique is called?

If you click here: http://www.sidereel.com/The_Big_Bang_Theory then scroll down to the episode numbers and click on one... more info drops down and you can click it again to make it go away.

Any clue guys?

would have most likely been built with jQuery.

If you google around for jquery accordian you can get this effect really easily with a plugin. Although you can that slide effect yusing the built in slideDown() function.

EDIT: just noticed it's loading co0ntent via ajax!
