What's this like?

Hi,

Looking to get a laptop and keen to this Samsung:

Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 / 1.8 GHz (Dual-Core)
1GB RAM (Will upgrade to 2 x 2GB)
160 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm
15.4" TFT active matrix 1280 x 800 ( WXGA )
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS - 128 MB
£666​

Also has WiFi, integrated camera and some other goodies.

I really don't want a Dell, so is this about the best I'll get for under £700?

I'd be using it for mainly work / programming, and possibly put the odd random game on there to keep me entertained while bored

The Vostro's are a very very good deal.

I never wanted a Dell, but looking at the specs of them - they're very good.

The specs are really nice, but it's just the design of it I don't like
