I saw a trailer a few months ago, it's a found footage style movie, appears that a group of teens try it on with some local farmers and then get the tables turned on them, that's all I really remember. Looked pretty brutal...anyone know what it is and if it's out yet?

It looks english, it's dead serious, not a comedy like Tucker & Dale and when I saw the trailer a few months back it wasn't out yet, so definately a 2011/2012 release.

I remember the kids are on video about to go and annoy some farmers or maybe ******, the tables are soon turned and the found footage is of what the "victims to be" do to the teens.

The start of the trailer has something like "the parents of these children agreed to show this footage"

I know what you're talking about as I watched it not long ago. It was AWFUL though. So much so, that I can't remember the bloody title! AAAARGH!

Bear with me.

EDIT:

The one I'm thinking of is Re-Cut! Ring a bell?

EDIT 2:

I don't think it is that, actually. What takes place sounds a bit like it (found footage, yokel killers etc.) but the rest doesn't. Mind you, the trailer thing you mentioned with "The parents allowed this footage to be shown" sounds VERY familiar to me.

Thank you for completely DESTROYING MY EVENING AS I TRY TO FIGURE THIS OUT!!!! :p:D:D

I seem to remember watching a trailer just like you describe , but for the life of me cant think of it now:confused:

What was the first movie that did that concept, where the audience is supposed to believe they footage is real? Blair Witch Project, I think. They did it also with Paranormal Activity... I was laughing watching that with the missus as she did actually think it was real until the ending. :p

edit: looks like there's a thread for it: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18307995
