Out business is looking to move into a new property and found this there, I can see there has been some indication of fibre coming in and just wondering has this has fibre to the premises or is it something to do with more of the networking?

I have followed the purple fibre cable and it goes from outside the building, I do not know where it comes in from ill have to have a wander round the building but definitely looks like fibre is coming in.

We are moving in the premises soon so the best thing is to just phone the people who have their names on the equipment? i guess its cable and wireless I will have to call?

I am going round to the new building shortly so I will take some better pictures of the equipment

the purple cable comes into the box on the top and then yellow cables come from that into the 3rd box the 2nd one aint being used

so do you recon it is a leased line that was being used?
and what is the next step do I just contact an ISP and get someone to come out and look at it? is it worth ringing BT ??

I have looked into it and it is going to be costly for a leased line , think am just going to go for ADSL as should receive up to 20mb. shame there is no fibre cabinets nearby!
 
I am looking for a bit of advice regarding networking. I have looked and all the cat5 cables go into the top 2 but they do not have any power going to them so I wonder whats next to get everything networked. Do I buy a switch and cut all the cables and put rj45 connectors on them and patch them to the switch?

just a bit confused about the setup
