I have 2 x MSI GTX 570 twin frozr iii in SLI

I have noticed there are little switches on the top that look like thos little bios reset switches on my MoBo.

I can add a picture if needed but im sure someone will know.

its on the top, so facing me when the cards are installed in SLI.

Cheers

IIRC they are for a fan profile.

MSI Exclusive P/S Switch Function
- Dual fan speed profiles–Performance/Silent.
- Performance Mode provides best cooling demand; Silent Mode balances noise and GPU Temperature.

Hahaha I once asked the same question about a red switch on my PSU as my PC was on and it caused a spectacular show of electrical sparks.

Probably has nothing to do with this but the title made me laugh.

That swith on your PSU sounds like a 110 / 220V switch. So yeah, if you put 220V when it expects 110, it's gonna sparkle.

BTW most PSUs nowadays have voltage auto-detect. Maybe was used for something else then, or it's old banger / crappy unit.
