Hi all,
Im looking for the name of the tool that can screw the motherboard screws into the case

you know the little golden ones that go in the pc case, its a screwdriver with a hole for the end, i really hope this makes sense lol

so im looking for a tool to screw the nuts into the case

the motherboard rests on these then you put a screw in the other side of the mobo the bits underneath the mobo are what im trying to screw in

You just need a micro-socket set or a spinner that'll fit, as far as I know they're all hexagonal

Kind of like an inverse allen-key? An appropriate-sized socket from a socket-set should work, but I just use my fingers, as they don't need to be super-tight.

Just use an adjustable spanner / pliers or similar. You dont have to buy the socket itself.

/runs off to grab a vernier and measures his nuts.

5mm. Socket.

I just use an el-cheapo screwdriver set with a hex socket set type thingy attachments, cost me all of 100p from a local pound shop :)

We always used to call them nut runners at work. :D but as said a pair of pliers will do the job just as well.
