OK, very vague this time, so I'll be amazed if anyone can figure out what I'm on about.

It's a tune, I think it's quite new since I haven't heard it before, and it sounds like it would be on some kind of racing game, and I heard it at JapShow 2007 (Awesome show on saturday, shame about the rain on sunday), and it's got a guitar with a really nice repeating part.

I've never heard it all the way through, usually my ears only ***** up when I hear that guitar bit, dum de ^dum de ^dum de, da-da.

If anyone can post any suggestions, I'll be amazed if they're accurate! :D

Cheers!

that is pretty awful lol.

Clever how it works, but nowhere near accurate lol.

Anyway, I don't think my song's listed.

Come on folks, someone must know it.

The guitar starts low, then goes up, then mid, then up, then mid.

dum-de, dum-de, dum-de, dum-de, da-da.

I can't really think of anything else to describe of it, mostly coz I haven't heard much else of it.

Rolling Stones 'Paint it Black'? I don't know, going from your 'description' it could be literally any song with guitars!

I don't think it had any lyrics, but then it may have just been a solo or something.

It was quite a slow beat, with that section above lasting about 4 seconds.

ghostface killah - daytona 500?

probably isnt but thats the first thing that came to mind regarding the guitars (somehow)

email the organisers and ask for the playlist?

I'd be amazed if anyone gets it from the description :p

It's definately something you would hear on something like GTR2 or some game like that. Like a riff. Really bugging me now.

do you have any idea how many songs could fit the description:

"has a guitar part that goes dum-de, dum-de, dum-de, dum-de, da-da."

I don't play many driving games, so don't know what sort of things they stick on soundtracks. Is it distorted guitar? acoustic? people probably need a little more to go on.

Is it Feeder? They were on the GT3 soundtrack and it fitted very well, sort of could be Just A Day.

Do you mean that it's definately on a driving sim's track listing or you think it should be?

Could it be: Annihilator - 'Burns Like a Buzzsaw Blade'?
