Hey
I'm looking for something to replace my Asus A8V and found this on OcUK clearance:

It looks like what I'm after (939, AGP and upgradable too) but there isnt a model number on the website, and google wont give me any specs. Can anyone help? If I ordered one, I guess it would come without drivers so I'd have to be able to download them - it might also need a BIOS update to take my Opty 165 and for that I need a proper model number and website.

Model is 939 Dual Sata 2 - will support 165 opty. Mine didnt need an update but depends what bios is on it. Also clocked to 280 FSB.

Not really sure about the model number/drivers issue but jsut wanted to make sure you know that you need a second miniboard to upgrade to AM2, it goes in a slot down by the PCI's and has an AM2 socket and DDR2 slots, not sure how much they cost or where you can get them from.

That motherboard is great, using it at the moment.

It suported my X800XT-PE AGP for a good few months, then i switched over to pci-e with ease. Not had any problems with this motherboard

Only downside though, is theres a cap on the v-core for the cpu, a limit of 1.45v... and the motherboard doesn't agree with 1T memory speed.
