Hey had to emergency stop on the motorway the other day, and then the brakes werent quite doing the job fast enough, so had to turn the car a bit to avoid hitting the guy in front.

Ever since it hasnt felt right, like there is a slight pull to the left and the insides seem to rattle around about 70 like something isnt as smooth as it was before.

My mate suggested my tracking might be out a bit? Is this likely and how serious an issue is it?

First of all, get the tracking sorted. Even if that isn't what's causing your problem, your tracking needs to be ok regardless. Then check you brakes to see if one is binding slightly on one side. You may also have a poorly balance wheel and you haven't noticed it until you needed to brake hard. Or even a slightly buckled alloy.

Also check your pads/discs to see how much wear there is.

I had the tracking done on my car just the other day but it was perfect... new track end rods and connectors, re track, tyres are fine, pressures are fine, brakes are fine and it still pulls to the left, more than you would attribute to camber. Flipping cars
