whats up with my pc? :(

anyone ideas?

spec is:

q6600 oced slightly.
xfx 8800gtx XXX
4gb corsair mem

win7 64bit.

Video RAM for sure.
You could try re-installing the drivers or rolling back to previous but this looks more hardware related.

first think i did was boot in safemode and upgrade the drivers to latest.

also gave everything a good clean out with compressed air.

defiantly the gfx card, could be on its way out, try the above, and also take it out and give a clean could have overheated

It's done well, 8800GTX was one of the all time great cards..

What sort of resolotion does your monitor support? and buget of course?

1680x1050 x 2, since i only play wow really, i would pref it to be under 100 quid if poss. and equivalent or slightly better will be fine, aslong as it can max wow.

both will do will for you..

If you can strecth it to £200, i'd go for a GTX560.. This'll give you some headroom plus if you change monitor, you're good to go.

well, the HD5850 consumes about the same as the 8800GTX.

sorry, i should have said, it needs to have 2 dvi ports for 2 monitors.

i would also have to wait a week, ive no spare card to use so i need one asap.

plus, the ati only has 1 dvi i need 2 as i have 2 monitors.
