hi

wondering if any1 could let me know where i can check how much voltage is supplied to my ram in the bios? p35C ds3r,

had 2 ballistix go belly up, replaced them and had everything set to auto with no overclock and it seems im still getting bsods relating to memory

tried putting in the correct timings using 5 5 5 15 (same thing bsods) dont know what to put the voltage to thinking this may be the problem

so i need to know where i can check what its currently getting and any info as to what id need to add ie +0.3 etc

thanks in advance

fonzio

ps ordered some corsair as when i checked the gigabyte site it says my 1066mhz aint compatible (or aint been tested) only the 800 seems compatible, so could be that, anyways gonna try the corsairs and hope the problems disappear.

Which Bios version u using ?

Earlier versions did over volt the ram by about .1 v

The latest F7 version sets the voltage correctly ( and allows you to read what is actually being set )

I too have ballistix 1066 runs fine with 2 x 1G sticks , but I cant get 4 x 1G to work :-(

ok updated to F7 my board is rev 1.1 btw

scary process anyway seems ok

didnt know where to find the memory voltage

however went into pchealth and it shows ddr2/3 as getting 2.384 volts

this doesnt sound right as my memory is specced as 2.2v

any idea how i could fix this to read correctly

thanks in advance
