I am patching MWO & it is taking forever so I decided to play some UT2k4 online & the server browser said ping was 43 on my fav. server. So no bad really, so I load up & get on the map, the weapons are not picking up when I get them. So I think **** this & exit game, well min. window cause it is going slow. I don't really understand, I was walking around fine. So anyway, I right click icon in taskbar, hit close, that's a no. Ok, task manager then, that takes a bit, hit kill process. Ok good, the thing is I think UT2k4 was the thing having the issue, but the system I have I should not have had the prob. right?
What's up with this slowness?

It might be down to if your running an ssd or hdd, if it's a hdd and your installing the patch on the same hdd the game/OS is installed on then maybe it's causing some conflicts resulting in some lockups/slowness with the OS to respond.
