did you buy it from here? look in the description of the place you bought it from. It will normally say vivo somewhere in the title.
Yup, or check on the box. My old X800 which was VIVO and my X1800 says on the box that it's VIVO.

how do you connect a console to a PC?
You get a little dongle thing, which has ports for composite in and out and S-Video in and out. Basically, you just plug your s-video/composite plug into the corresponding one on the dongle. You'll need a program which is able to play what is being inputted to the card, but i don't have any reccomendations for this.

It's quite simple really.

ive checked the box.. and the only place it mentions VIVO is:

External Connectors:

VIVO with S-Video connector (VIVO version)

does this mean my card is vivo... or this connector is only for the VIVO version?

Yup, as long as it says VIVO on it then it is VIVO :)

And King_Boru, i've just had a look around and i'd reccomend downloading Ulead Videostudio 9 and having a play with that. It's quite good and the quality is alright i guess that it gives, doesn't match up to the quality you get with it on a TV, but it's still playable :)
