What's with the new snow warning?

Highlands aside I'll be surprised if anywhere gets any substantial amounts of snow - the forecast over the next few days is very dry as well as cold. Though there is a fair chance of sporadic snow showers country wide some of which may be heavy.

We had a dusting overnight, and the roads were quite treacherous this morning, but it's bright and sunny now, so unlikely to last beyond midday

No snow but the roads are absolutely lethal around here, been several accidents already. It's like a skating rink.
