whats with the sig rules ?

I've never seen a site before that has such strict rules on signatures, Other sites allow for greater resoltuion sigs such as 600x200 which is a nice sig size but on here they are tiny.
I heard quite a few bad things about the ocuk admins and the forums themselves before joining but I didnt think they were this bad :-/

Because i shop quite regularly at the store and thought it would be a good idea to join for product support etc...

Just think its a bit weird when such a big company such as ocuk limits sig sizes to 400x75 when guild website and such allow for sizes upto 600x200 and on the EVGA forums the sigs are huge, just think the admins need to backoff and calm down a bit and go a bit more easy on their customers.

You do realise sigs don't cost OcUK anything?

Then why not increase the size to something a bit more normal instead of miniscule ???
You can still have classy at the same time as normal size, Doesnt have to be microscopic.

I'm pretty sure members don't want to see those larger stupid sigs like all the other forums which look horrendous.

Sure it can be turned off but it's what makes this forum nice.

There was a vote a while back and the majority voted to keep it as it is.

Personally I remember the days of going on the DCX BF1942 mod forums and that was an absolute assault on the eyes with animated sigs and walls of text so i'm happy for the sizes to stay as they are.
