Whats wrong with my 5770?

Post your full system specs.

I play COD4 on my rig on 1920*1080 with everything maxed out.

(e6300 @3ghz, 4gb ram, 9600gt)

Download a program called msi kombuster, run that for a minute or two till the temp levels off and tell us what temp it is

why are some of you only getting 80fps?

Mine is maxed out as much as possible on 1920 x 1200 and mine never moves from 250fps.

now im not sure of the difference between COD4 and world at war engine wise, but I find 250fps hard to believe, unless your running it around 800X600

No need just do it at your normal rez because like you said "@ 1920 x 1200 mine never moves from 250fps".

to actually contribute something useful to this thread: OP, is it just COD4 you're having problems with, or it it gaming in general, or is it the PC in general? Just trying to rule out some other possibly dodgy hardware here (ie memory/HDD etc)

edit: having just dug up a picture of your board, is your card in the top PCIe slot? otherwise it wont be getting enough bandwidth
