Hi

My PC been playing up recently and now is dead, basically it turns on but nothing on the screen shows, the video card is checked and okay, hard driver and CD/DVD drives are checked and okay, the ram is checked and okay and I even changed the CPU and still the same thing is happening.

The PC just won't boot, there’s seems to be a clicking sound every few seconds as if it’s restarting itself.

What possible could be wrong i haven’t got a clue???

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Have you checked the PSU?

Check if the light is coming on the mobo.

Even if it's on, it's a good idea to check the voltages using a mutlimeter just to eliminate the power.

Yes but it's inconclusive.

You need to eliminate your PSU completely.

Here's how

If the PSU is ok, i'd start looking at the mobo

Make sure all your connections are correct and secure.

Can you post the system specs too.

That's what I thought when I read the OP, it's the PSU.

(well first I saw the clicking bit, and thought it might be the hard disk, but if you don't even get a POST, not even any beeps, it has to be the PSU or the motherboard)
