Whats Wrong With My Temps

Could be that Tjunctionmax for that chip is 100C rather than 85C, so the temps are showing 15C lower than they really are.

On coretemp there being calculated with a tjunction of 85 where it should be 100, so add 15c to each core temp and your at 28c+31c. Looks like that version of speed fans doing the same thing, download newer/beta versions and its generally fixed.

ok just downloaded speed fan version 4.28 now with this version its not even showing any of the core temps at all ? and the only version i can find of coretemp is the one i already have 0.95
 
Not sure about Speedfan, but with CoreTemp there's nothing you can do. It's just got the value in the register wrong.

I think you can set an offset value in Speedfan, but don't quote me on that ;)

thanks for that. are there any other programs that will work with this CPU ? i did try one called TAT i think thats what it was called . but i get an error messages when i try to use it

Coretemp 0.95.4 is on the main site, should read your temps perfectly.
