Whats wrong with my Xbox X

The 2nd time its broke & now its out of warranty. First time I think the hdrive failed but this time it wont turn on properly.

Does Metro on the X keep freezing/crashing every 30min? As thats whats its been doing for a few days.
This X has never run hot though & even had a repair/service Oct18.

Does anyone have any ideas what this fault is or how much a repair would cost? thanks

Just got the X back from repair £60: It was the APU or in old money a red ring of death!

The repair guy said he was chuffed to be able fix it, by gently heating the solder points around the APU then nudging it back into place.
Since then Metro had a 53MB update but now it does not crash so could be the update or the X before?

Well its for sale now with a 3 month warranty, Kinect with adapter & many games:

Bought it a month after release in Nov17.
First broke Oct18 & m$ sent me a recon unit free of charge with 3 months warranty, which ran out Jan19.
I battled with m$ but their original warranty is 12months so they wanted £188 to send another recon unit. That's why I paid a £60 repair.

Just Metro crashed before but not now.

After breaking twice I'm really dissapointed with its build quality + recurring Gold fees but I never play online + higher game costs. Cancelled Gold & now going PC with err much cheaper game costs.

Plus none RTX Metro has been handicapped with obvious missing reflections it looks distracting in places... Checkout the lake scene early on.

Going 3rd Gen Ryzon when the prices settle & RTX.

Scratch that. Metro just crashed after 30min & the console is barely warm.
