Long story short - I built a computer 1 year ago, 2 weeks ago it stoped working.

When i power it up, everything inside apears to be working, all the little LED's, fans, cathode's etc are all on. But there's no display on the monitor, it just stays blank i don't evan get the bios details.

I thought it might have been the PSU at first, so i bought a new one and that's not the problem... lame. ^__^

Right before this happened to the computer there was a constant beep from the motherboard, it didn't stop beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'ing untill i just hit the power.

I've had the motherboard battery out for 2 hours to clear the CMOS, still doesn't work.

Is there a way to test a graphics card without putting it into another computer? ( it's got water blocks on it, and i've lost the stock fan ^__^ )

What does this sound like to you guys? any help would be greatly appriciated.

It dose sound like your graphics card but it could also be your memory, have you tried ether swopping your memory out for known good memory or if you have 2 sticks try 1 at a time.
Another thing you could try if your mobo has onboard graphics is try that instead of the card.

If video and memory both check out ok then its a faulty mobo

Thanks for the reply, got a small update..

The mobo doesn't have onboard graphics, but after a few try's of rebooting the computer i got some display but kept getting a few gray screens. When i try and get into the bios settings i just get a gray screen.

I'll try taking some RAM out and booting it up with less sticks.

Btw, is it possible to corrupt a bios?

Update: Boots fine now without all the RAM in place. I say fine, but i don't know if it's fine for certain.

I'll run a memtest now, see what that brings up. If there is errors, i'll not be happy! cause these are the second lot of crucial's i've had. The first bach i had caved in and i had to send those back for these i have now ;O
