Whats wrong with this lunatic PC

so the story is my friend bought a pc, it was running ok as i installed xp for him.. then BSOD was happening, it got more frequent, and now its totally messed up.

plug it in, turn it on, all fans spin, however no display on monitor..

at the moment there is no hard drive inside because he kept that with my old pc i sold him... im pretty sure the graphics card is fine because i removed it and same difference.

i have cleared the CMOS via jumpers. however no display..

im thinking the CPU mabye dead? but i need help, (was suppose to run a boot cd and do tests but thats impossible and im stuck)

thanks in advance for you response. i will try find out the mobo/ram + think the processor is AMD 4600

Might be the RAM. If there are two sticks try them both 1 at a time on their own.

hehe took 1 out and some random stuff came up, didnt catch it but its progress thanks!

EDIT: I put the other 1 back in and it didnt work, seems 1 of the 1GB sticks is dead somehow?.. i initially thought about the ram a long time agon but that was the BSOD's, --- anyway thanks cd boots now. :d
