same thing happened a long time ago to my fx5200. found out card had overheated. pretty much borked, but thats my experience with that exact effect.

It happend the other day, I checked the temps it didnt feel hot
Im telling hnim to change drivers now

thx

It can't be the drivers they aren't even loaded at the stage of the bootup surely?

I had the same thing on my 7900GT but it was red lines. :D

or just bin the card - your bro got 60 notes hanging about? - he could do with a decent upgrade that would probably shock him in terms of performance. Unless he is like 11 or something.

a 5200 thats still under warranty? if thats true then do indeed return it - they wont be able to replace it for another one so he may get a good upgrade - like a 7* series or maybe a perky little 6600 - stonking little card that.

It's a 7600GT

It should be under warrenty, only had a few months..

It don't even work anymore, turn pc on all I get is "check signal cable" then goes to standby on monitor..

I went on Point of View, they say:

Point of View doesn't sell directly to end-users. Warranty claims should always be directly handled with the reseller where the product is purchased. Please refer your products packaging for the exact warranty period of your product.

Means I send it back for replacement @ shop I purchesed from?

Also, I can't seem to find the wrapping packet they put it in..would it matter? because im thinking if not then theyll be like "it could have broke due to way you packed it" blah blah

Thanks ;)

Aye, send it back to the shop you got it from and you can use any old box as long as it's not so small it crushes the card and so long as you stuff it plenty with bubble-wrap or whatever.

They'll give you an RMA number to write on the box so that they can identify it.
