Hi guys,
Last night I downloaded the Windows 10 preview to run on Virtualbox - the box I created started and then threw out an error, something I assume to do with virtualisation in the bios. I've had similar issues before.
Anyway, today I can't use VB at all; the box I created last night just hangs my system. Instead of the box starting up up (even to fail) all I get now is: "Creating process for virtual machine vmname (GUI/Qt)...(1/2)" - that just seems to freeze, though I can still cancel it. The Virtualbox processes remain running and prevent my system from being able to shutdown/restart.
I can create a new box and I still get the same, it doesn't even try now. I can't think what could have changed from yesterday? I've unistalled/reinstalled but the problem persists... I used to use VB all the time at Uni but I've had a break from it for a couple of years, has it really got that problematic in that time?
Any ideas, I'm really stumped
