Up until last night I could not get above 180, I used to fail dramatically in a 4 player match and end up looking like a noob...on my own Wii!

But not anymore, last night I managed to get 205, 221 then 235 but for the life of me cannot get above 235 and this morning my arm is so dead it's unbelievable. I must have played over 35 rounds in single player trying to find the perfect motion, speed and angle to twist the wiimote upon letting go to curve the ball (I always start at the side of the alley).

I managed 4 strikes in a row several times but could not get 5 else I'd have been able to smash my cousin's record of 241 - I WILL DO IT THOUGH >_<.

Anyway, what scores and strike runs have others got?

If only Wii Sports was online too :p

I've had 6 in a row recently (what is the term for that?), though the rest of the game let me down so I had 214 in the end; I think my best is ~230.
I nearly got my action down in that session, but I'm just not quite consistent enough to rake in a huge score.

At the moment my arm muscles are also aching from too much Wii at the weekend

My cousin has managed 250something some how.

250 :O

I absolutely ape at Tennis though, nobody I know can beat me in that and I want to be equally good in Bowling as well :D

Good exercise too eh ¬_¬

I record some of my solo sessions just incase I get like 6 strikes in a row or get a high score so I have proof (else my cousin thinks I cheated!) - now I need to get close to 300!

The second time my daughter (aged 6) ever played the game she got 187. She started with 4 strikes and the rest were all spares. I refuse to play against her now.

I think I've only managed about 230-40, but I wouldn't be surprised if 300s were common. Once you get your technique down in that game, you can really rack up. I'd imagine playing on your own would help too.

The trouble with tennis is once you get the hang of it there's a return to a non-smash serve that's plain impossible to get to, which I found made the game really rubbish. It really makes the lack of control over player movement obvious.

No longer have a wii but myself and my son both worked out how to get a strike almost everytime by holding the wiimote at the certain angle, we scored 300 loads of times.............no pics or bread though :(
