Whats your favourite PSOne JRPG

There were so many great JRPG's on the PSOne but whats everyone's favorite?

Final Fantasy VII is my favorite game of all time so i guess that takes the title but Suikoden I & II push FFVII right to the wire.

Don't think I could pick a favourite but Chrono Cross is excellent.

The nostalgia I have from my first playthrough of FFVII overshadows every other memory of gaming on my PS1. Such an incredible game.

FF7 hands down, loved FF9 but for the sheer scope FF7 wins. Replaying it on Steam and was blown away by how good it is again, after 10 years since last played.

Agree. I’m replaying on Switch and it’s amazing how well it holds up.

FFVIII is better than FFVII.

FF7 was my first JRPG (Picked it up preowned from Game, didn't have a clue what it was), that was one of the best console game that I played to date!
Since then played them all on release, only one I couldn't quite get into was FF12, although that might be also down to me being less interested in gaming during that time of my life.

It's between Suikoden 2, Star Ocean 2, and Grandia for me. I'm near the end of a replay of Grandia HD at the moment, such a fantastic and underrated game.

I had this, I played it loads but I still really ever had a clue how to play it properly compared to FF7 haha

I got the written guide for it. I managed to get ultimate armour and two of the highest weapons.

In the end, I upgraded so much I could kill the final boss with one swipe of my mighty blade...

Oh..... Vagrant Story now im tempted to go back to it as i never played loads of it originally.
