What’s your favourite Sunday newspaper?

Firstly, I am fully aware that sales of newspapers have plummeted in recent years because of the Internet, but the fact remains, many people still like a physical newspaper, especially at weekends.

What is your favourite Sunday paper? Due to cost, I think the days when people had half a dozen Sunday papers delivered are long gone. So with the just the one paper, what’s your choice? Do you like high brow papers full of politics and economics like the Times of the Telegraph, or do you prefer more leisurely reading over your Sunday brew, like the Mirror, or the Express? Also, what was that newspaper that years ago used to run totally stupid stories like man’s head kept alive in jar or Elvis seen working in chip shop?

What’s the point in starting discussion threads on here when no one wants to be serious and just reply as though they’re some kind of comic genius.

Please stay out of the thread if you’re not interested in the topic

Not sure if I'm imagining it but I thought that at one point there was a story about Elvis living on the Moon. :D
They sure did, and one “we booked dad a hooker for Father’s Day, and mum turned up!”

It really was gem after gem, many of them about pervs sticking their bits where they was never meant to go, like Gregg’s pasties and Pop tarts.

Used to buy the News of the world many many years ago, but as above, must be 20 years + since I've bought a newspaper.
The internet killed them like a lot of other things IMO. Progress? The jury is out on that one.
I can’t stand reading newspapers online. Phones are way too small and even tablets just feel awkward and cramped compared to a proper newspaper

I bet everyone’s parents had a daily newspaper. My dad was a Sun reader and I used to read his copy. 10 years old and sitting there with page 3 open in all its glory and he never said a word, couldn’t give a toss lol

We had the Daily Mail delivered in the week when I was growing up and the telegraph at the weekend, dad quite often came back with The Sun also.

I had a paper round when I was young and used to read all the football news on the back pages then realise I had walked past the last half a dozen houses awaiting their paper lol. Obviously had to check out the boobs too.

I've not bought a paper for years now but I did like getting The Times on Sunday for the football section.
Must admit, the sports pages and football pullouts are one of the best bits. Used to love reading all the match reports on Sundays and Monday

I can honestly say, I’ve never bought myself a newspaper.

My mum use to get the ones on a Sunday and I’d walk around to the shop to pick them up. Get a chocolate bar! Stopped getting them when I was still in High School. Outdated media that’s no longer required.
They might be outdated but they are still a traditional thing that many enjoy. Now we’ve got streaming and Kindles, who needs blu-rays and books, but they’re still sold in their millions
