Hi Guys ,
As title say what is your max fluid temp ? not cpu or gpu temp but fluid ?

i just wondering becouse when i'm in game i hitting max 42 degree with is not bad but my SP120 have to be 1200rpm so i just thinking what is a safe temp so i can lower RPM and and overall noise as i have machine 20cm from my head

Thank you

Here is my ring

My fluid temps in my last build stayed around 30c, my current build stays around 27ish.
Don't know what sort of fluid temps i would be happy with, not much hotter than you've got to be fair :p

Fluid temps are currently 27.7c at idle

Room temperature is 24c at the moment

Highest I've seen so far are 43c when looping Heaven Valley benchmarking

Radiator wise I've got 2 x 480 SR-1's, 1 240 SR-1 & 1 ST-30, all with Noctua F-12's sitting at 600ish RPM (although PWM controlled by the motherboard)

Machine spec in sig

26.4 right now idling. Room is a bit warm right now though. Usually idles around 24-25ish, altho my fans usually run at around 650rpm. Have a slim 240 and thick external 360.

Any one run in game temp up to 50-60c ??? I wonder what will happens when i will let loop reach those temps

At that point i think your GPU and CPU would be running uncomfortably toasty for watercooling. Itl probably be in the sort of temp range the stock cooler offered, though i do admit i have never seen a loop's water hit that high.

My 4770k + 290x rig with 600mm of rads has water sitting in low 30's under load with fairly high clocks on both GPU and CPU

8350 @ 5Ghz + 580 with moderate clocks with 360mm of rads sits in the mid to late 30's under synthetic benchmark loads and mid 30's in game load

My test bench loop which consists off a CPU block and a 240mm never really goes higher than low 30's.

I do however run my fans as high as they go before i notice them.

I'll let you know by the end of the week, actually installed the temp probe I've owned for 2 years into my GPU loop, reading from the outlet of the radiator. Though I suspect an sr-1 480 with 8 apaches stuck to it will keep things hovering around ambient :D

I have seen on some res that it's maximum temp is 60C as the acrylic starts to deform after this
Personally I wouldn't be comfortable with anything above 40 although I don't have a loop just yet :p

the think is i have not a greatest rads one 240 with is 29.6mm thick and 360rad with is 39.5mm and all mounted in Corsair 540 air with CPU4930k and 2x 780tiSLI so that why i'm reaching temps around 40c in game
in a few month i will add third 780ti and i think i will have to buy new case and some really thick rads to reduce temps , i will probably go for Crosair 900D as this case is heaven for watercoolers and i can imagine with 3 cards and CPU my temps will never go over 30c in game with some insane rads

What are you using to measure your temps?

I've got a couple of sensors measuring the water temperature and I get very different temperatures from them than I do with the GPU,CPU & motherboard monitoring

Any of the components overclocked? Why are you looking at adding a third 780ti?

Water temp will always be lower than cpu/gpu temps so that's normal.

Your water temp may read a little high in its current position due to it being on the gpu, if you can stick it on rad/res if no spare ports use a T fitting.

Edit: when I say a little high in its current position, it may only be a few degree's at best.

i have my in loop temp sensor in the same place on the gpu. i have 2 120mm rads cooling my [email protected] and gtx770 @ 1358mhz when boosted. prolonged bf4 ive seen fluid temps of 31.8 deg c max with an idle of around 25 deg c. ambient room temp is about 22 deg c. i do have a single slot bay res and 2 bitspower 80mm tube tanks too tho. The system holds almost a litre.
