How often to you type something in that box when you log in?

I have mine as www.bbc.co.uk/news

reasons:-

1 - It changes constantly
2 - One glance I am up to date with current events

There's a google box on the top right corner in the browser anyway, using a search engine as the homepage is as useful as having none at all.

Majority of the time I start were I last left, which usually Overclockers forums, Google and what other items I have been looking at.

iGoogle homepage is the way forward. Best of both worlds. Mainly use it because it gives me customised news/RSS updates as well as instant email access.
