I'm past it a bit now but I once started at 7pm and finished at 5am playing CSS when I first got into it :D

Can't get past 3 - 4am now without drink or some other help

So......

Game

start

finish

:D

16 hours straight, no rest waiting for a boss monster to spawn over and over again, it was x5 spawn rate.

That was 7 years ago, ahh those were the days of the good old MMO.

About 13 hours on SoFII Multiplayer (same server all night, come off around 6am!), ah that was great fun... Theres not many games now that i would do that :(

When I first got Final Fantasy VIII I must have spent 3 days in my room, only emerging for calls of nature and food. Only time the PS was switched off was when I went to bed. Sad I know but I was young lol.

Most I spend on a game now is 2-3 hours.

Longest session for me was 24 hours playing UT2004 straight. Online against a few mates. CTF matchs mainly great fun.

18 hours for me. playing metal gear solid from start to finish on the playstation. :D

nowdays i rarely play for more than 2 hours in one sitting. :)

I could never manage marathon UT matches tbh, my longest was quite long by my standards, i.e: 6 hours.
My hands cramp up and my fingers get way too sore after a while. My concentration also goes.

Longest session would probably be around 30 hours at a Quakeworld LAN, something like that - but not solidly gaming all that time.

In one sitting, the most I've ever done is probably around 10hrs or something like that.

At a mates house i ended up playing Midnight Club 3 on Xbox for 8 hours straight, while drinking some Carling. By the time i was finished i had the image of the cars and track 'burned' into my eyes. Honestly, i could just sit there staring at a wall and actually 'see' the image of the screen.

However i just realised this is the PC Games section, so i guess about 6 hours on Battlefield Vietnam/Battlefield 2 is probably the most i've done on PC.

Last Saturday at i29, we went from 9am Saturday untill 9am Sunday.

It wasnt _constant_ but it wasnt damn far off :D

In one pure gaming session, i would say it was my guild did our first ever BWL clear.

From about 5pm untill 4/5am. When we finally killed Neff for the first time :D

52 hours at i-series 12 but I was so knackered that I had to get my Mum to pick me up early lol. That was when I came so close to sleeping for 24 hours but just didn't make it :( 23 hours and 20 mins was what I managed. I still do plan to go bed one day and wake up a day ahead :P

I used to play cod with some ex United 5 players, i had to wait up for matches at 5am in the morning haha and i did nothing but game throughout the day the irony is i had 100ping on bloody US servers,

I used to LAN about every second weekend playing mostly quake 3 about 5 years back when I was at uni. I'm not sure what my longest sessions without a break was but typically the lans went for 12-24 hours and we rarely went to sleep or really did anything apart from game.

one day i got home from work slightly early, as was having a party and my boss is nice :) i played halo 2 from 6:15pm on saturday till 7:40pm on sunday. didn't sleep and only stopped to eat pizza and stuff (mind you, i was eating while playing  )

Probably around 15-20 hours. These days though I can't play for more than 4-6 hours before I get bored.

I got paid to sit in a hotel on standby once and played on a playstation for 12 hours a couple of days a week for a few months. I had CMR, Rage racer and Silent hill.
