I live 1 mile from the A38, and after 400 miles of easy Motorway driving it takes more than a few miles off the Motorway to begin to dent the average. You know how averages work, I presume?

Please do imply I am a liar more though, I find it amusing.

Don't have a trip computer in my car, but via the gift of maths I reckon I'm averaging around 29mpg in my 1.8 A3.

Mostly town driving though. I've had over 500 miles from a tank when driving a round trip to Southampton.

Don't need a Trip Computer (my 12 year old Civic don't have one!!) I've got an App on my Xperia Arc that calculates it for me!! :) its called 'fuelLog' if you've got Android!!.. Think there's an iClone version! :D

So far this week driving to/from work I've managed an amazing 16mpg, think I'll start getting the train into work as the closer it gets to winter the slower the cars on the road seem to be moving!

Overall average from owning the car 6 months and travelling around 3000 miles is around 21mpg.

I only check the mpg for the Peugeot, which is averaging 44mpg around town, stop start all the time due to doing support calls. It's a figure I'm happy with considering I don't exactly drive slow, and the car is literally doing about 50-60miles a day, at about 6 miles max a time. Poor thing :D

61.3 ~ according to in car computer.

2006 Peugeot 307 1.6 hdi

Not sure how accurate that is? I/We get about 680 to 800 miles to a full tank, think its a 60 litre tank.

I honestly haven't a clue as I do so few miles in my car 20 quids worth lasts ages, It's better than the RS though which was better than the Shogun. :p

I won't mention how many bazillion miles I get on my 1T's though as somebody might point out that I don't get very far before somebody in a car tries to kill me. :D

22.6mpg- Scorpio Cosworth

My electric bike is currrently hitting an equivalent 1858mpg @ 20mph avg speed (costs 4.67pence to charge for a 19.5mile commute).
