I've grown up using a bidet. As bizarre as it sounds, having a clean bum after a poo is quite a significant part of my culture 
Anyway I had someone over for dinner and they were freaked out by the Japanese toilet seat bidet I have in the loo. They called it weird.
I countered by saying if you had poo smeared on your arm would you just wipe it away with toilet paper, or would you actually wash your arm?
Anyway, where are you on bidets? Yay? Nay?
