After replying to a post in the force unleashed, it made me think what my favorite star wars games are.

This would be my top 10 in order.

1. Knights of the old Republic (PC)
2. Star Wars Galaxies (pre NGE) (PC)
3. X Wing Alliance (PC)
4. Tie Fighter (PC)
5. Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy (PC)
6. Knights of the old republic 2 (PC)
7. Star Wars (arcade)
8. Return of the Jedi (arcade)
9. Rogue Squadron 2 (Gamecube)
10. Star Wars Trilogy (arcade)

I put it in consoles due to the number of various console titles, although theres only one console game in my list. Obviously games like Trilogy in the arcade are better than the original star wars in the arcade, but it has such a place in my heart it would never be bettered as an arcade experience.

The only Star Wars game that I thought was truly magnificent is Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast. Nothing has ever come close to matching that. Great balance of Force powers, introduced gradually so you were always achieving something, great fighting with the lightsaber against the Newborn. Ah, my cup overfloweth.
 
X-wing vs Tie Fighter was my first real PC game. No sound card *** :p

Never played as tie fighters, they had no shields!

8, The one which was a bit like age of empires on PC - can't remember it's name.
 
star wars games genereally dont interest me though i played one for the snes and though that was good :D

actually i also played lego star wars too and thought it was ok :)
 
X-wing Alliance is by far the best star wars game i've ever played and stays at the top of my list :)

the X-wing Vs tie Fighere games are up there but fairly similar to X-wing Alliance, I did try the jedi knight games but i couldnt get into them at all, though i think im gonna give them another go now i've got into RPG's a bit more with Mass Effect
 
KOTOR is still my all-time favourite SW game.

Jedi Knight & Jedi Academy were good fun, but never really 'did it' for me.

I'm about to fire into Force Unleashed, so we'll see how that stacks up :)
 
Ooh, I forgot Star Wars: Rebel Assault 2. That was like an interactive movie - all the game graphics were digitised scenes from video with real actors. It was a hoot although driving the Millennium Falcon down those narrow passageways with all the pipes and rocks was hair-pulling-out time.
