What's your Top 5?

5 is hard, after 20+ years of gaming, but here goes.

1 Half life (you can say what you want about Deus Ex, but HL changed the whole of gaming)

2 CS (including CSS, due to it being the most competative fps around and the 1000s of hours Ive played)

3 Total war (still playing it after 8 years give or take and its still just as good)

4 Home world (Such an amzing game and yet to be bettered)

5 I cant pick 5 but it would be based on enjoying a game and is between system shock 2, ff7, tie fighter and morrowind.

Freelancer-Multiplayer was awsome
Age of Empire 3
Mass Effect1/2
Crysis& Crysis Warhead/Wars- I love playing the multiplayer
Birth of the Federation

Baldur's Gate (1 + TotSC, 2, ToB... it's all one long game really, especially if you use Tutu mod)
Planescape Torment
Fallout 1/2
Deus Ex
Mafia

Sadly leaving out Stalker games, Vampire: The Masquerade bloodlines, Star Wars: KOTOR, Thief games, Dungeon Keeper 2, Half Life 1/2, Portal, Counter Strike (from ~1.1 up to Source), C&C Tiberian Sun/Firestorm (online), Max Payne 1/2, Mass Effect 1/2, The Witcher EE, Dragon Age: Origins, TES Morrowind and (to a slightly lesser extent) Oblivion, Fallout 3, Bioshock, Football Manager series (and Championship Manager before the split)... and whatever else I have forgotten

Also for some reason I've never gotten around to playing System Shock 2, but from other people's comments and the type of games I like, I think I really should!

System Shock 2 - yes, do it! Play it through with just a few mods and you should find it a very absorbing experience. It's the best 'old' game I've played, almost eleven years old. :)

Far from it, nod had faster units, but less life, where GDI where beasts but slow. They both required slightly different strategy and how to use teh units. The game play was very balanced and corporation could be found as long as you joined one of the top servers. The lower down servers where horrible where you had a bunch of idiots and no team speak. Long gone are the days of renstation.net :(
If you look at the winrates you'll see that Nod wins about 60/40 vs GDI.

Boils down to Artillery and SBH.

Good to see that we have lots of Blizzard and Valve fans :)
Two of the few companies that give top quality games for PC..

"This game is ridiculous, the story is ridiculous but ironically it manages to beat the original game in terms of gameplay. The game is really long filled with challenging levels and barring a few minor flaws it actually works pretty well. I must say it seems to rip off a few elements from other games, but then I look at the game title and I think “Oh why bother adding another to the list.”

My favourite part in the game is the “Game Over” screen, go figure, because of what happens if you don’t continue. If you don’t, the penguins eat you, I’m dead serious!"

I dont really play consoles so these are all PC games:
