I can see c6bec from where I'm sat,I think one of neighbours thinks they are Russian on the qt maybe.

i usually just use my name for 2.4ghz and then surname for 5ghz

However I may go down the route of something like "Swingers Welcome" or "HMRC Intelligence Van" for a laugh as I'm pretty sure the guy across the road is dodgy

My two main networks are "APNet" and "APNet 5.0", then I have a guest network called "ASCII and ye shall receive".

12345

I used to use 1234, but got confused thinking it was 12345, so I changed it.

Sometimes, late at night - when it's quiet; I think about changing it back.

True story.

Mine is ****offandhacksomeoneelse on 5ghz and ****happenstousall on 2.4ghz. For a long time i had both selected as hidden, but not anymore. Always makes me smile when any mates come round and sees them on there phones :D

Can the length or complexity of an SSID have an effect on connection quality / speed? As in would you have 1% better performance with a small basic SSID over one with 30 characters

I have a number of them.

"Ben and Leigh Downstairs"
"Ben and Leigh 2.4GHz"
"Ben and Leigh 5GHz"
"Slingnet" (dedicated network for Slingbox)
"SkyNet" (how common)
"It's this one Byron" (so my lodger didn't have to look too hard)
"Viral Threat" (to scare the non-geeks in the same block of flats)

My friend uses Batcave (Batman fan obviously)

Mine is "Horny Lane, Giggity Giggity!" As the road I live on is called Horn lane :p.
