Why such tardiness? Telegram and other competitors have made it possible for a very long time.

Whatsapp is not my favourite messenger, but what the rest of the family use, so I'm stuck!

But when, O Lord, when?

Does anyone have divine inspiration or even supernatural knowledge? When?

You mean Whatsapp Web? It's not a Windows App but a web-app and will run in any browser. I use it all the time, but it only ties the phone to one browser while the phone is on. In Telegram I can register the same account to as many devices as I choose and manage my messages on whatever device I have in front of me. That is convenience of a different order.

I use Whatsapp web on my Chromebook.
