So out of the blue, got a WhatsApp message from a mobile number I don't know, saying "hi". Shortly after, I got a text from WhatsApp, with a 6 digit code, for my WhatsApp. The idiot over on WhatsApp, then sent me a message saying, "
Sorry, I sent you a 6-digit code by mistake.
Can you pass it on to me? ". I then checked online and figured this is a scam, because if you send them the code, they will have access to your account. Please be careful out there and make sure you have 2 step verification on your WhatsApp account. Not sure though what they will do, when you send them the code and they have access to your accounts, crazy stuff though and apologies if this has been posted already.
