We have an iPhone 5s, I think it is with iOS 10.3.3 installed How can we install WhatsApp on it without a sim card? Trying to do this for my partners daughter

WhatsApp was already on the phone (without a sim card installed) but I reset it back to factory settings Phone only gets used indoors using wifi

I’ve followed that guide already. When I enter the landline number it moves on to say “The phone number you entered isn’t a valid mobile number for the UK”

Don’t have one which will fit, and as said previously, it’s been set up before without a sim.

Women! Just been told a free sim was used to set up WhatsApp previously. I’m flabbergasted!
