Whay are prices getting higher with each stock?

Its not a great time to get PC parts i guess. I brought some ram like 5 months ago and now the prices is close to 50% more.

The £ is fubared as all pc stuff is bought in $.
If I had bought my i5 back in September I would have saved loads due to cheaper everything (especially ram).
That's life I am afraid.
Whilst I bought 90% of my components from OCUK, one or two parts that were not essential to the running of the pc, such as a better cpu cooler, where bought from elsewhere due to price.
